Tip Calculator is a simple, ad-free Android app for quickly calculating tips and splitting bills. Open the app, type in the bill amount, and the tip is calculated immediately based on your saved settings.

The main screen has two buttons in the title bar: a person icon to open the bill-splitting menu, and a gear icon to open settings. Settings persist between sessions so the app is always ready with your preferred configuration.

The settings menu lets you customize the app to your liking. Open it using the gear icon in the title bar. A reset button (arrow icon) is also in the title bar to restore all settings to defaults, and the X button closes settings and returns to the main calculator.

Theme: Choose the visual theme of the app. Options include Gruvbox, Dracula, and more.

Tip Input Type: Choose between the slider or quick tip buttons to change the tip percentage.

Slider Default Percentage: Set the tip percentage for the slider when opening the app.

Rounding Method: Choose how the total amount is rounded. Options include:

• No Rounding: The total is not rounded. (5.49 remains 5.49)
• Dynamic Rounding: The total is rounded to the closest whole number (5.49 → 5.00, or 5.51 → 6.00).
• Always Down: The total is always rounded down to the nearest whole number (5.99 → 5.00, 5.15 → 5.00).
• Always Up: The total is always rounded up to the nearest whole number (5.49 → 6.00, 5.15 → 6.00).

Currency: Select the currency symbol used in the app. Options include USD ($), GBP (£), EUR (€), INR (₹), PHP (₱), THB (฿), or None.

Max Split: Set the maximum number of people you can split the bill among (up to 99).

NumPad Layout: Choose the layout of the numeric keypad.
